This topic is meant for hints and tips with regards to coil/mmbow and temp/summ skills.

Tips:

temp:
- useful for taking out sensors beyond their range, this can be done at quite a distance
- always give your target plenty of lead when firing at a distance
- aim at main body when shooting closeby

Coil:
- becomes more powerful at long distance
- has ability to go through and hit secondary target at long distance, extreme useful when you are aiming at a larger group of beasts harassing your melee-ing friends
- zoom is handy but can distract you from seeing people sneak up on you
- high rate of fire but is most effective if fired accurately
- useful against behe's at long distance but once to slightly weaken them
- weapon of choice against summs but remember it takes 3 shots and without taking shamans into account

Summoner:

-useful for 1 shot 1 kill action at longer ranges
- projectile follows ballistic path so skill is required, allow for projectile dropping and give lead as projectile is slow
- extremely useful when fired at lego's from above (e.g. tower etc)

MMbow
-good for ranged zoomed sniping but very overrated
- doesnt allow you to move when sniping, easy to get hit
- limited ammo limits its use
- slight lead is good as projectile is fast and only drops a little

that would be excellent, we are lacking melee tips at the moment, and I am hoping Tirza will post her temp/coil tips here too!

Now i just have to figure out a good thread title, that you changed this one has made me insecure! I got some diverse general hints, maybe "Oglab's General Hints and Advice" or just "General Hints and Advice"?
go with "Oglab's General Hints and Advice"
